TARIK KARAM 

Director Tarik Karam is an Arab-American filmmaker based in New York. After graduating from the American Film Institute, he worked with director Stephen Daldry, co-producing and second unit directing the Oscar nominated films Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close and The Reader.

Alana has EP’ed with Tarik for many years. Tarik has directed commercials for The New York Times, Johnson & Johnson, P&G, CVS and McDonald’s. His work has won Clio, D&AD, and One Show awards.

He directed a 30-minute award winning gun violence documentary for Netflix as well as several episodes of a racing documentary, Fastest Car, in partnership with Condé Nast.  

Tarik recently finished directing second unit on the Russo Brothers’ upcoming film, “The Electric State” with Millie Bobby Brown and Stanley Tucci.
